How long until beginners notice benefits?

Beginners often experience the first benefits of meditation within a few days to a few weeks. I continually monitor the progress of my students' practice on an ongoing basis. Reduced reactivity to minor stressors frequently appears first. You may notice more peaceful responses to traffic delays or emails from the office. These are the first signs of the nerve system adapting within you.

I lead students based on their experience when it is most useful and helpful. Your level of commitment correlates with the amount of benefit you will gain. Remember to trust the process. Changes happen gradually and steadily.
