Healthcare policymakers show the therapeutic neutrality of meditation. Patients of all faiths can practice MBSR without conflict with their own beliefs. Insurance companies provide evidence of therapeutic effect and do not require faith as a prerequisite for effective application. The universal applicability of the technique serves to confirm that it is a scientific means of obtaining wellness.
