Lavender, peppermint, lemon, tea tree, and eucalyptus are excellent starter oils for beginners who use essential oils in aromatherapy. These pleasant, natural oils offer numerous benefits with minimal risk. Lavender soothes frayed nerves after a stressful day. Peppermint is invigorating for natural mornings. I started with these five essential oils for aromatherapy years ago.

Lemon oil brightens the mood while effectively cleaning surfaces. Tea tree oil combats skin impurities and household germs. Eucalyptus oil helps open airways for individuals experiencing breathing problems during seasonal changes. The oils supply physical, emotional, and practical needs. Keeping them in dark bottles away from heat is essential. My starter kit still sits on the shelf in my bathroom.

You should keep your "beginning" oils in cool, dark places. Keep them out of the reach of children and pets. It is advisable to replace citrus oils regularly for best results, once a year. This will give good results in aromatherapy. My first lavender oil yet is perfectly efficient.
