My name is Professor William Dalton, Ph.D., and I am motivated by a desire to understand health in every aspect. I write and conduct research to help inform the science and apply it to levers of action to facilitate health behavior change. Writing is an opportunity for me to present relevant insights, action-oriented approaches, and personal experiences in a scientific way that is also practical.

While my work emphasizes the importance of prevention, balanced living, and mindful habits in maintaining health in the long-term, my overall goal is to translate and apply complex health topics into language and actions for daily living.

As a researcher, I engage in healthier communities or self-care. This could be focused on nutrition, mental health, or lifestyle interventions where I help to show how informed, sustainable interactions can lead to stronger, healthier and more cared-for lives.
